Cobra Suzuka's - Had to make my own subframes for them as they are sidemount FIA motorsports ones. Soo much comfier than my old Monaco's which just didnt wrap around enough or have enough cushioning. These are a GT width which are suited for bigger blokes and boy are they a tight squeeze between the B pillars! Wanted to run them REALLY low to the floor, ideally ON the floorpan but the width of them ment they had to go higher to clear the transmission tunnel
Anyhow anyone that ever wants some advice on fitting sidemount seats in a Corsa B gimme a shout. Can go round corners sooo fast and you dont budge an inch!

What are your seat belts fastened to?
I really like the look of blue seats in an Arden blue Corsa but I'm not sure how the seat belts go together.

Seatbelts are fastned to eye-bolts which pass through the car shell with welded-in reinforcement plates (not really rear passenger friendly although can comfortably fit one in the middle with the lap belt.
They cost me £500 for the two from my mate who owns his own modifying business but I think they retail at about £630. The side mounts are Sparco steel ones at £22 per pair (MUCH cheaper than any others) and the best bit is the steel strips for subframes cost me £7.50 from local engineering place and assortment of M8 bolts nuts and washers was £5.00.
Cant believe how much difference their is between Monaco's and Suzuka's. I took a trip across to Demon Tweeks where they have about 50 diffo race seats on display so tried them out, and found out that I could only fit in the 'GT' or 'deluxe' versions of seats which narrowed it down to about 6 seats (im about 5' 11" and 14 stone). The only downer is how tight room is for the gearstick.

Im fairly broad and have no probs with the GT versions... Just try some before you buy. I'd never put money down on a set of seats i'd never sat in...

These can adjust... OK so you need to unbolt them to adjust them but they can go forward/backward and tilt forwards/backwards also higher lower so when you say cant adjust them...
Havent had these on a long journey yet but the crap cheap buckets hurt on long journeys yes but the amount of padding these have and the fact that they fit MUCH better around your body than the cheap steel frame ones should me they are very comfy.
Adam D - they are around 6.5 - 7Kg each I believe but TBH weight isnt an issue really for me...
