Was driving my girlfriend back to hers last night and i had to drive through town there were some cocky chavs pulled up at the traffic lights next to me and started revving and bouncing the car up and down.
I dont normally race but in this case i floored it redlined it in first and second and as i put it into 3rd i looked in my mirror to see where they were and what did i see? Blue flashing lights NIGHTMARE
what scared me the most was that id had 2 pints

he pulled me over and told me that id broken some section 59 law or something and that i could lose my car??
he never breathalised me
he shit me up a bit and then told me id got a caution
got let off quite lightly i thought
i wont be racing through town again

yeah i know!
they did a check to see if the car was mine, scared me a bit telling me i could lose my licence and then when i was absoloubtly gutted he said im gonna let you off with a caution this time since its the first time

it happened to be an old battered up 1l 8v corsa b with a kenwood sunstrip and a stick on exhaust thing so if it were posted anywhere it would be on here.

The other car probly saw the cops and didn't bother putting his foot down even if he did, in a 1l 8v B, it wouldn't have broken the speed limit

What engine are you using?

I thought the drive by wire throttle was too much of a problem to do 2.0 transplants on a corsa C. If you really want a faster Corsa C, why not sell the SXi and buy the 1.8 SRi? got to be cheaper in the long run.

1st time i got pulled i was doing 96mph in a 40 he clocked me at 80 coz i slowed down when i saw him at a junction, he took ages to catch me up coz i sped off hoping he wudn't know where i went lol

got let off with a caution tho, but bout 6 month later got caught speeding again on a road where everyone speeds coz its a 2 lane effort but is reduced to 50 for some reason, was doing 75mph, had me on video in his car lol had to admit to it then got the 3 points n £60 fine

i learnt my lesson to, for doing 49 in 30 back in january! 3 point and £60 fine... i reckon if the police have "good" evidence they will deffinatly do you for anything, from my experience! like video footage or accurate reading from a speed gun or correctly calibrated gatso, and only reason they let any one of is coz they have no evidence or little/inaccurate evidence!
