stand the head on its side and tip parrafin or petrol into the ports, you will see if it leaks past the valve quite easily.
Also I thought youd had the head skimmed or is that a different one?

no it was skimmed lol but the machanic fucked it when he took it back out lol

that head is fucked no wonder the gasket went, take the cams out so all the valves are shut but that does look bent.

It doesn't look good, do as Ainsley suggests.
Dont put it back on with bent valves.
Strip the head and put the valves in a drill to see how true they are.

Get a new head with the pourus repair modification done on it. Then swap all your gear over, but replace any parts that need doing.
You haven't half had problems with your engine

looking at the top of that picture above number 3 cylinder it doesnt look like it was skimmed, if it was it was a piss poor job. Have you got a picture of the full face of the head.

You'll need to buy a new valve, have the seat re-cut and have new guides out in for the damaged valves. It might be cheaper to get another head, I picked one up for £40 a while back.
