silly thing is i bet a lot of people buy the new unit.

does it have anthing extra over the ps2? not like its a brick anyway.

intergrated 10/100 network interface for online gaming, support for mp3, v-cd, dvd +/-r & +/-rw.... plus its sexy....

will fit nicely into the corsa b glovebox too

they've just put the power pack externally, but does look noice though

I read on the net that the reason they could srink the ps2 so much is because they made the power supply external which made me think there might be an in-car adaptor for it (not an inverter) like sony made for the psone

The power supply is external on this one, however that wasnt the size problem in the original PS2. It was the drive size, seperate drive controller board, fucking useless expansion bay and a hoog fan.

if it runs on 8V, of course theyve put the power supply on the outside - thats what its there for - to convert the mains power down to run the internal circuits
