Can you please post up your BEST 1/4 mile time AND terminal speed. I want to see if there is a corrolation between time and speed on the runs. Please put if you have an LSD. Also put your guesstimate of power if you want. Cheers!

only managed a 14.4 at 93mph.
No LSD, close to standard, but only running 5psi on an F20 'box.
There was really a correlation between terminal speed and time. Lee crossed the line at 98mph in 14.6 on one run.

My theory is this:
Terminal speed is a great indicator of power to weight, but your time is more a measure of your launch.
You guys agree?

Imagine this - Great launch, perfect gear changes upto 3rd gear, gained loadsa speed halfway through the run, go for fourth and miss the gear stick, eventually pop it in, and upto 5th then 6th but although your times decent, your terminal speed is affected from the slip.
There is no set terminal speed for a certain powered/weighted car, turn up, do a run, get your time, fuck off! Physics and Maths can only do so much.

Well good thinking michael the mouse! I admire your interest in my quotes
To work from paper, every run has to be the same skill level, and how can it be? we are not robots!

No! Venom I agree there with you, but I think your missing my point....
I'm presuming you have the ability to change gear
I'm just trying to see if crap traction from the start changed your terminal speed, and how power to weight effects this.

I can't change gear, I lost my left arm in a violent act with a hatchet.
