Iys Crap Iriver have had one out thats does all that for the last 6 months and you can transfer direct MP3's onto them without converting them for the ipod.

Ipod are just copying I-river

Better features that ipod aswell.

What a load of cack, a 2" inch display lol my portable tv (which i brought about 8years ago) had a bigger screen than that

eitherway, like nismo said, there just following suit to other manufactures such as archos, who have had a video/photo/mp3 player out for about 2yrs- and their newer AV400 series player looks the bomb, has a biggers screen etc

The only reson I-Pod aer so big / popular is the have the money backing to advertise every where and people who know nothing about PCs / Gadgets by them thinking there great

archos, 80gig, 4" screen...record from TV/SKY etc using cradle, has a tv guide system (like sky), using normal mpeg/divx files etc etc and its about 150 quid more - but it does offer alot more over the ipod

rob 40Gb is a shit load of music bare in mind you are going to be listening to it through ear phones / car stereo etc.. so you do not need 192K bit rate

you can make the files less than a 100K bit rate and you will never notice the difference , ive got 318 albums on me drive and its only just under 40gb.
