Check your suspension/bushes/etc for play too.

I was just about to post about this problem, happens me aswel.

Only happens when im doing over 40mph or so though when I brake hard. Same thing I have loads of life left in the pads and drums. No ABS.

Feels like its coming more from the front.

Warped disks was the only thing that came to my mind too Adam_B.

Looked at them and there are shallow marks in the disks, you can expect this though?? cant you?!

only way you can tell really would be to put a flat edge up against the disc, like a metal ruler or whatever

i had this, then it got really bad, then i lost proper use of my brakes. Me, Lee, Shinee, Mechanics at work, spent ages trying to figure out what was up with it all.

Finally, we concluded on Monday night, it was a wheel bearing. Was LOADS of play on the front nearside wheel when Lee jacked it up.

Also needs inner and outer cv gaiter on that side, and as its a driveshaft out job, am gonna get my f28 on while lee's at it. And an LSD too but my poor bank balance, and now need to sell all the stuff thats cluttering up my house/shed.
