Babes,
Rach got some Speedlines yesterday they are in excellent condition no scuffs but they are faded, i.e not very shiny like mine.
Do Halfords sell anything that could restore the colour?
Would Autosol work?

T-Cut or Autosol, any high quality paint restoring product as they are simply painted and laqured. Then give them a good coating of wax or wheel protector.

I don't like the idea of using wheel acid on wheels, I swear it ruins them.
Could go down S&T and see if they would do me a favour, will go down Halfords tonight and have a lookie.

That acid stuff is for removing brake dust, brake fluid and other crap. If the wheels are dirty then use some of that, but if the paint is just faded and matted - like what happens to old red Vauxhalls - then it wont do anything. T-Cut is the way forward.

Mine have Speedline written on the centre caps. I know what you mean about them being a bit faded.

Try giving them a polish with some rubbing compound, followed by a good wax like meguirs or zymol etc
