i was gonna do engne transplant for a 1.6 gsi or sport but mates just taken his 1.8 16v out of his vectra for a let, just wondered how they are to do compared to the 2ltr/1.6 is there a kit out there or do they use same bits as 1.6 - 2ltr i aint a clue

for what its worth go for the 1.6 more tuning products avaliable, easier conversion and lighter too, i imaging the 1.8 to be a big block engine, go for a nice C16XE engine from an early GSI

yeah a nightmare to find, i see you have 19's!!!!! you need a C20XE/LET to get them wheel turning, lol, I had 2 x C16XE once, there was one in me boot one under the bonnet, well while your filling up on ducktape im filling up with diesel eeekkkk

Yeah i know wot u mean bout needin the wheels to turn, the 1.4 gets wheels goin bout 4k easily but just want that little more and something to fill up the engine bay a little more

Get a C20XE, pay Lee mitchell or beardy off here £1500 and you will drive in with a 1.4 pick car up week later with 2lire engine and 150BHP, and a huge grin on ya face
