does anyone have a website giving info about these?? I am a bit confuddled readin this textbook and a bit of help would be much appreciated!!

i have tried google but i cant find anything useful in the general sense

well basically i have to write up a short lab report on "access protocols" and cant really find much background info etc on them

You fool - I've just sold one of my old course texts on Data Comms.

I can't even remember the 7-layers any more

Do a search for the ISO model / OSI model.

and will comprise sections such as:
Abstract, Introduction, Media, MAC addresses, Access protocols........


got the rest of it done just the access protocols, would that be CSMA, ALOHA etc etc?
