When i'm coming out of junctions etc, from stationary (moving off trying to pick up speed in 1st) my car (Corsa B 1.2 8v) seems to jolt a bit and pull back before it actually starts to move as i'd want it.... yet another issue with my car (which has only covered 50k miles - 96 N reg)
Anyone know what this could be, or how it could be resolved
Cheers

if you have an induction kit, it'll be the lack of moving air in the engine bay, especially if you floor it, there will just be nothing there. get a col air feed or two in there, or even better, a viper, mine (1.4 16v) did the same until i swapped to a viper, that cleared it up no end
hope this helps

dunno then bud, check the plugs and leads for a spark, if there aint anything obviously wrong, take it to a vauxhall dealer, or swap the engine for one like mine

mines ALWAYS done this. its goes then slows down then takes off....
as its been said sucks in a bit of cool air then hot then cool again.
but if u aint got an induction kit then *shrug*
uif u find its only when its cold leave it too warm up for a few mins

Mines the same, changed plugs, dizzy cap, leads, even put induction kit on... seems to vary from day to day how it performs.

i have this problem 1.6 with mantzel the trottle pedal is heavy so you have to push on it more then it drops suddenly and ya get a load of revs....
ya get used to it though... use yer clutch to counteract it...
