you can get a key made up if you have the lock- from a locksmith, so if that guy has the damage repaired,
somone has a key to his car
but im probably wrong as itll need a code-key to get it started anyway,

They put them on Passats/Golfs etc and they use a vacuum system so they need Audi parts which cost a fookin fortune..hence the theft
passat b5 and 1j and 1k golfs hava a plastic fuel filler cover which locks with the central locking, which the petrol cap sits behind though, i see no way in whcih its fits

its will use a imbbob 2 or 3 system, so you right, it will get into the car but not start it, and to get a coded key you need to produce the v5 document and id to an audi dealer
