Surely the left side should be welded onto the flat bracket in the same pace as the right side - it is on 99% of Corsa braces ive seen

I think you'll notice that both left and right sides are not welded on the flat bracket. The left is welded at the bottom and the right is welded at the top!

What the fcuk is your problem mate!
