Right this is the second time in 10000 miles
its leaking near the top of the engine and last time i replaced the rocker gasket is there any other commen places were the corsa leak from

cork rocker gasket yeh???
sounds about right tbh, they always leak! your lucky you got to 10000miles before leaking again tbh, best I did was about 500 miles

the one i replaced it with was rubber it shouldnt of gone should it

u use a torque wrench to do it back up?

just loosen the rocker then tighten again ???

take it off, clean it all up & refit it...
but tighten from the centre-out not from one end to the other

take off the upper inlet manifold
remove plugs & leads
undo the bolts holding the rocker cover (should be 8 i think)
fitting is reversal of removing... check a haynes manual if your unsure

Your suposed to do up the bolts in a diagonal sequence and torque up to the correct n/m

took the ecotec cover off last night and had a look there is oils leaking form the whole front of the rocker cover
job for the weekend i think

get a new gasket and do the bolts up in the correct sequence and correct torque

5 minute job... if that, try doin bloody headbolts as per haynes not easy to do

upper inlet aint to hard, just replace clips on throttle body with jubilee clips,, ull see when you egt there

what a twat it was to get the clips on so fucked it off and put a jublee clip on lol piece of piss job to do but unsure of if all the pipes are on the che corrct ones lol
so if any one wants to post a pic of what the pipe arangment by the throttle body is then would be much appreciated
the car runs fine just want to check

I can't think of any vaux engines I've seen that don't leak oils somewhere
