looking for an In Car GPS system, around the £350 mark, something similar to this by halfords:
Has anyone got any recomendations, that they think is good?
It needs to be able for me to plug a post code (grid OS) and be able to direct me to it!

can get gps software for symbian mobile phones for around 200 mark

aint for me, its for someone in the company, just wanna be able to type in a grid reference and be directed to that point.

if theres a PDA lying around mate, get a GPS adaptor (can get them in CompactFlash form if the PDA supports it) and get tom tom...will work out alot cheaper

thats ugly as sin mate
no, you can get the software Tom Tom (which runs on that ^) for symbina mobiles and PDAs if you have either of those, it will save you a fair bit in mulla (especially if you know where to get Tom Tom from )

Im sure that the bundled Tom tom gps reciever also acts as a dongle so u cant just use the software with any GPS adaptor.

dixons do a HP 2210 PDA with the Tom Tom attachment for £400, you get a PDA as well then.
