even though i dont have aircon 
hmmmm should I fit air-con to the GSi for summer...
hmmmmm....
probs wont be tho there was no other switchy-things in the car when I took the dash to bits for aircon...

one was brown... i 'think' the other was green, but it might not of been!
only way i can find out for sure is to take the bumper off again, but I cant be arsed doing that!

I think u will find it was the test plug mate. If you look at the back of the haynes manual, look at the wiring diagrams for the air con/cooling, and its part 80.

no its to test the radiator fan is working, to find out if there is a problem with the radiator temperature switch

its for a/c cooling fan if its taped up into loom all 1.6 looms have this evern tho gsi never came with a/c it did abroad
