Checked on windows update the other day and ended up installing xp service pack 2.

Since then i regularly have problems signing into msn and get an error code 0*81000370 in a little box, when i click troubleshoot in the box it says theres fook all wrong

Anyone any ideas?

Messenger 6.2 btw if it makes a difference.

well i managed to get in by turning of the firewall but the firewall is set to allow messenger so bit puzzled there??

same. havent had one problem with sp2.

although i did back up my whole systems contents incase something went wrong as I know a few people that have had problems with it
