basically, i want to rip the charger apart and wack it in the car behind the dash with just the cable sticking out into a holder. Whats the best way of doing this? - run a new set of connections + fuse to the battery or can i tap it off somewhere else?

p.s - reason for this is so i dont have to keep the fag tray down all the time etc etc

tap the cig lighter but u need to remove the ash tray for this. open the end of your charger and there should be a fuse inside. u gotta keep the in-line fuse in the connection.

and the little step down electrical gubbings obviously. just tap it off the back of your ciggy as mo said, draws very little current
