the kit starts at 4,400+VAT for the chasis and the body pannels, then you have to buy all the extras such as sterring, hyrydilcs, drivetrain. The company can source an engine but thinking of doing that myself, you can buy the complete ones from £45,000

Rover V8s in older model TVRs.... http://www.tvr-power.co.uk :

"5.3 Litre Nitrous Oxide Powered Rover V8

TVR Power are pleased to announce the latest development of the Rover V8 engine.

We have used our expertise to develop a normally aspirated engine producing 384 BHP and
395 Ft/Lb of torque, BEFORE the state of the art Nitrous Oxide system is activated.

When the Nitrous is armed and activated, it produce’s over 500 BHP and nearly
600 Ft/Lb of torque.

We understand that not everyone will want that sort of power, the Nitrous is an optional extra…
only for the brave of heart!

We feel that there is still more to come from the normally aspirated power figures, and the development process is happening fast!"
