as some of u read my last rebuild posts about the headwork id been doing...heres a quick update

finally got my arse into gear and decided it was time to sort out the block.

totally stripped it out and checked the main and big end bearings, these were all like new still

removed the pistons and the rings and checked the bores. they was all good.

checked the crank, thats also in good condition, along with the oil pump.

oredered a nice new shiney set of rings and bottem end gasket set.

so mondays task is to hone the bores and fit the rings and pistons back in.

then i gotta, fit a new water pump and timing belt kit and put it all back together.

ill put some pics up soon

Dan, arent you going to need to change the bottom pully to a V- belt one? I know the multi-rib altenators dont fit, do they? I know on my Valver they have fitted V-Belt jobbies...
