its easy to change filter, leave car for abut 15-20mins unclip filter clip new one in, one screw and two clips.

my 1.2 8v is actually a 1.6 16v, i lie! jus tleaving it standing for a while will depressureise it, a few drips of petrol will drip out but not much to notice! its infront of the drivers side rear wheel. filter is abotu 15pounds from vauxhall

hold a rag over the connections to prevent petrol eye.
i took the downpipe off DIY, so you should be able to replace it DIY, yeah.

do u have to take the wheel off to get to it? or can it be done without? they arent the gay clips are they that you have to squeeze with sum pliers then you cant the effing things back on?

no. its infront of the wheel. its a cylinder shape, cant miss it. dont even need to jack the car up, but it is easier if you do
