alright folks..

As most of you already know i have a 2.0 16v in my corsa.. but recently ive noticed that my speedo stops moving after 100mph.. it just crawls to about 110mph although the car is pulling strong.. not far off the limiter in 5th

which must be good for about 130mph+ at least.????

Has anyone used a digital Speedo or know where i can get one ?!?!
I dont want to fit an astra Digidash as i dont really like them that much..

I quite liked the look of the corsa the other day with the Flock dash (andy hamiltons im sure.) where did he get his clocks from.. any1 know

Also 2.0 corsa folk have u noticed the same on ur car??

they will cost you about a grand all in...

400-500 for the centre stack sys, then the rest

My old cars electronic speedo used to stop at 142mph...but the car didn't.

mine stops at 130..... the car smelled bad after holding it there for a while

Car BO..... oil/burning etc .... smelt good... esp with the huge hole in the bulkhead

my cable speedo worked for a grand total of one day.
snapped the first time cos i hadn't screwed down the box drive far enough.
replaced it with a new one and it still doesn't work. no doubt i fitted it wrong.

guess work is the way forward.

i never really plugged my speedo cable into the dash towards the end of bucket V1.... knew by the noise etc

I just work off the rev counter....

Stack dash is the DADDY, kid round our way has one in an Astra. If I had a grand to spend I'd get one!

would be handy if it didn't read higher than 96, for if you got caught speeding. think thats trhe cut off point when a fixed penalty becomes a court appearance.

96mph is what I got caught doing on the M1 in my SXi.

Had loads left loads in it as well
