Cars just failed MOT on bottom ball joints, is changing them big job? ive had quick look in haynes and it doesnt look to bad but just wondered if anyone has done theirs and any probs they had?

easy enough... can be a bit of a pain if ya dont have a breaker but the trusty big hammer will do in its absence....

^get them off him.... vaux are a fookin rip off for them.... nearly 3 times dearer than local motor factors/pattern part.

TBH I wouldnt DARE drive round with £6 a-side ball-joints, they are a CRITICAL stress point in the sus that I wouldnt scrimp on, specially with higher poundage springs. You break a ball joint and its wheel under the car and NO control time...

Dunno, i'll have to look in my book but I get 20% OFF trade club prices till Crimbo so prob about 50/60% off RRP...
