getting a new corsa(red) on thursday and want to colour the dash etc.
what colour do ye think would look best????? i'm not totally gone on red.

As above silver is prob the only colour that you can get away with IMO unless you doing every thing e.g seats dash door cards etc aprt from red.

which bits you wanna do?
1. remove the part
2. clean and degrease
3. apply primer layer ensure full coverage
4. allow to dry fully
5. rub down with wet and dry paper
6. apply a mist layer of chosen colour
7. allow to dry
8. appy layers of chosen colour till youve got full coverage
9. allow to dry fully!!
9 apply layer of laquer and ensure full coverage
10. allow to dry and if necessary apply another layer
Thats what i did anyway

where do i get laquer and is it in a can that you spray on?

wot u wanna do m8 is
1.rough it up using 600 grade wet n dry paper
2.apply primer to it in even coats give it about 3 coats
3.then sand down with 1500 wet n dry paper till its like glass,use the sandpaper wet.
4.apply thin layers of base coat till uv got even coverage and then sand it down again using 1500 wet n dry paper usin it wet again till its mega smooth,
5.apply a thin coat of lacquer and leave to dry for 15-20 mins then give it a thick coat.
6.leave it 4 ages 2 dry then give it anuva sand wiv 1500 wet n dry.
7.using a cutting compuond to take out flatting marks and polish the paint work
its all in the prep work dont rush it and leave the paint to dry over night part from the first coat of lacquer

yer this site has go to tutorials m8,
go to halfords and u can get all u need from there,just chose wot colour u want and itll tell u wot colour primer u need dont 4get ull nead plastic primer tho,and clear lacquer
wet n dry sandpaper is basically sand paper u can use wet or dry can get that from halfords 2

u should never wait for the paint to fully dry b4 applying lacquer the proper way is to wait for paint to got tacky dry and then spray lacquer its called wet on wet as then the layers bind together forming better strength
