I had a Toad Ai606 Alarm on my Corsa (think thats the right number, its CAT1 anyway)
Anyone know if its possible to have rempte start fitted, will it be added to the existing alarm system, not sure how it works and what sorta price, anyone?

if you can see it on the toad website mate, then you should be able to get it fitted to your alarm 
Although be warned, that some insurers dont like it, especially if you have an immobiliser and it bypasses it.
