heard so many different things like how much the engine's cost, conversion kit all the ancilleries etc etc all extra bits.

how much for everything r u looking at to have everything to do the conversion?

Including fitting with lower spec brakes and an F20. Probably be able to get better brakes with an F28 for around that price if you get your hands dirty.

£1200-1400 for engine
£100 for F20 box, more for F28
£600 for fitting kit
£500 ish for fitting,
plus intercooler,brakes etc

after selling the old engine and bits i replaced etc. think i shelled out about £800-£1000

fitting kit with new bearings 500

u mean convert the 2.0 into a turbo? if so its not worth it. just buy a let

I mean how much to change from XE to the LET, obviously you wont need the fitting kit so thats £500 saved right away

as alreayd have xe with 1k rebuild to go against cost and the fitting kit

speaking to mechanics at work today bout how much theyd charge me for doing it, n they put sum very interesting ideas my way as they said xe n lets have been done " to fuck" as they nicely put it why not do somit diff like use a different engine out of a different car n came up with somit they said they could make work n wud involve giving me a live rear axle they said theyd just need my car for a good few weeks as time wud b the issue, but the suggestion excites me greatly.
