More tales, the petrol light came on again today so I went to the garage. The DTE (distance to empty) was showing 87 miles but I don't trust it anyway, so I put a tenner in. Went in and paid, came back out and started it up. The light was still on and the DTE said 56 miles.

Where did my tenner go and who drove 31 miles while I was paying
