Its not exactly difficult or costly to be prepared, a can of deIcer and a scraper dont cost much to buy, saves fcuking about in freezing cold mornings.
Or if you got £££ to burn get a Clifford with Inteelistart so you can start the engine when you get out of bed and by the time your ready to go out the car should be defrosted for ya!

You think you had probs this morn. My engine wouldn't turn over, snow had turned to ice and the washer jets don't work anyway

Put a sheet of some kind over ur front screen (NOT a wet one!) then for the test use de-icer and a scraper, cud it be any easier

Yes i have toped up too Told shitron when they service the bitch but they didn't fix it. The only thing they done was nick one of my sidelight bulbs I tell ya, it was missing and not just replaced with a broken one
