Hi All,
Wife has one of these. Yes the amazingly fast 1.2 16v auto!
Not only does it speed like nothing you could ever imagine (or wish for), but the new wheels ive put on make it even faster! (not!!).

205/17 TSW's
Now, im lookin to do a few more things, so if anyone could tell me if they have done and how hard it is, or how much it costs for someone else to do...
Bigger front discs (preferably ones that slot staight on), rear disc conversion to have something that looks better than those horrid drums! (painting the drums is not an option ).
Whats the biggest standard fit discs i can put on the front and rear?
Colour coding the bump strip and the door handles.
Maybe a spoiler on the back.
New exhaust tip (current one faces the floor).
All subtle changes really.
Any other ideas?
No point in engine mods (tho something easy on the insurance probably wouldnt go a miss),
Not going to be lowered or stiffened (wife is pregnant and the wheels make it harder ride for her already).
Im going to try some photochopping for some of the above, tho as im useless at PS work!

agree,
Standard brakes on a 1.2 16v are fine... even the drums,
I know looks wise they would look better, however no real need.
Money could be spent better elsewhere

First one, any local bodyshop, where are you? Second one, you'd probably need a backbox which is a fair amount more expensive than just bolting a chrome tip on there. Bit more classy as well

Induction kit, no.
Lexus back lights, certainly not.
Spoiler and de-badge, perhaps.

Standard brakes on the pre facelift C's are definately not fine. The ommision of ABS was a bad one. Much improved now all models in the new range have ABS.

no need for uprated cd player, its got a jvc trick unit with mp3 player already.
atm it looks like just gonna be adding a spoiler and some colour coding and a bigger disc kit for the front :>
ill have a hunt around for spray shops, anyone done some colour coding before at home?
i would imagine that masking and then priming and spraying wouldnt take too long, would just be a case of finding a nice clear few days to do it (no garage!). Maybe easier to jsut get it done by someone else

Colour coding looks good especially on silver cars. Lower it a bit and get some nice smoke tints.
