its a little chip which ya plug into something, can't think what its called, 3 letters... begings with an I. it tells the ecu that theres more cold air coing into the engine than there really is and in effect its supposed to smooth out flat spots, give you a quicker 0-60 speed and even increase your fuel economy (somehow)

Joff, wheres the throttol body? ned a detaild explination for spastics, including diagrams easy enough for spastics (i.e. me) to understand!

dont see how that works...only thing it would do, would be to increase the fuel mixture - which rules out fuel economy

you could have got it from ebay for about a fiver mate
all it does is cause the car to over fuel and it offers very little in return of wasting the 90pennies a lt fuel in your tank

lol total rip off!!!!!

as james said they r the SAME thing if u open it u will see a resistor which fools the car into making it think that the air is colder/ more air going in. it is BAD for your pocket and car

I've found you a better deal on the same thing which you have bought.

http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=2162&TabID=1&source=15&WorldID=&doy=1m1

The sensors do a great job of telling the ECU exactly what is going on, and the ECU makes informed decisions based on this. You can fool it in to thinking its getting air which is more dense, and it'll add more fuel. However if the air is not more dense, you'll get unburnt fuel in the combustion chamber which at best is a waste of fuel and at worst will cause petrol to run past the pistons and dilute your oil.

You might even get a bit of ignition through compression which sounds boss but doesn't do your con-rods much good.

Did the increase in power figure not ring any alarm bells?

ps. his house number is 30 if you have any problems with that refund.

That whole website is a joke. Very nicely designed and works well, but all the products are universal crap from Taiwan.

huh?? the only info ian has of you is your IP address and your details when you registered for prem...and no house/tel details are stored on ip addresses obviously if you had a .com (or other US domain name), or was dumb enough to leave details on there .co.uk address, then your details will be shown if you do a WhoIS lookup

but yea, this isnt a good mod....if it was, every rice burner and there dog would have one
