Empire magazine previewed Revenge Of The Sith and said it may be given a 12 certificate due to the content of the film! All the other SW were issued U certificates, which probably suggests it really is alot darker!

I think the BBFC objected to the scene where Palpatine is caught with his trousers down, tugging over some sneaky changing room snaps of Amidala.

Really? I heard Count Dooku kept caressing Anakins ass during the showdown, and that it was deemed inappropriate for the kids.

the new films are getting worse and worse tbh...all of the 3D stuff seems to be getting weaker and weaker, and films like LOTR, Shark Tale etc are pulling out better 3D graphics 
Eitherway, the triology are the only TRUE sw films

Its Lucas and his stupid "comedy"characters, a la Ja Ja Binks.
He's even added them in the original trilogy, the stupid singer with the red lips in Jabba's palace then an outside shot where a creature shoots out a tongue and eats something, then burps for comedy value
He should stick to what made the originals good, strong characters and a solid plot.
