Hi, after a corsa again, would like a 2.0, (But no kits etc, just std bodywork.)
Most models considered, as if it came to it id do the conversion myself, But would rather an unfinished project/one that has engine in already.
Not on a huge budget, but what u all got?

Well i was really looking for a nova, (have been on and off since i was 16, but finding a nice one is prooving hard)
So ILL CONSIDER ANY MODEL OF NOVA, (long as shell is reasonably sound)
I had the corsa,1.2 8v breeze, liked it, only sold so i could get sumfin faster.
And i got a mk4 astra 1.8 sport (grp 7, so corsa sport insurance with corsa gsi+ performance)
But was too new/expensive for what i need.
So think i will go for another corsa (nice simple mechanics, etc)
Looking to spend up to roughly 2k, no more.
Starkies gsi looks mint, but insurance would be 2 high, got quotes for c20xe on a 1.0 12v breeze base car, ins grp1 for £1300 tpft (thats for wen im 20 2ncb in a few months, with adrian flux)
so having a gsi as a base is gonna be way 2 expensive 4 me. Cheers anyway
would love lucky b's old one which is for sale, but with that cars engine modds, insurance is a deff no way!!

doesnt matter what base model you have they take it by the engine though hic seem to like the standard alarm thats fittied to the gsi for some reason i was only £550 tpft at 23 1 years no claims

apparently not that much harder, just have to extend sum wires, as 1.0 ecu is in engine bay, not drivers footwell kickpannel

According to vauxhall white was never a popular colour so they never done as many left white mainly for comercial vehicles.... was the same with the corsa c, mk3 astras and mk4 astras, so i would bet on to many decent white ones... they'll all be snapped up..

Starkies would be a better buy than a Nova IMHO...
and it saves you spending £1k on a car then another £2-3k gettin it perfect..
Starkies car only needs a few "Personal" touches if any...

yeah, ures does look nice, but now, id like to do it all myself from scratch. cos my last 3 cars have all been modified slightly wen ive got them, and ive added to them, this one id like to do from scratch, and say "ive done that!"
Also not that keen on abs, and i want manual steering so i can fit a 2.4 ratio steering rack
thanks for the offer anway mate
