i have a 1.4 ls corsa 94 and want to fit a rev counter as my corsa has not got one can anyone help i have clocks with rev counter but when start the car it will only shows 1000rpm hitting the rev limiter

from what i can work out hes saying hes fitted/previous owner has fitted a set of clocks with a rev counter but its not working and is sitting at 1000 revs even when hes thrashing the bolocks off it so he wants to fit an after market one to sit on his dash. or hes fitted an after market one and its not working i'm not 100% sure as hes speaking some form of school kid i'm not farmiliar with

sorry i have a corsa1.4 ls 1994 which didnt have rev counter .and i want to fit one so i got a speedo head from work. which came out of a 1.4 ls 1995 i fitted the clocks in .when u rev the car the rev counter olny revs upto 1500rpm the needle will not move very far

green wire from coil is rev counter. check it ro run a new one. theyre not diesel clocks youve tried to fit or visa versa are they? as they run off a different signal from the altinator i belive?????

i have got the speedo head out of a1.2 16v sxi v reg would they be any good
