would it be worth swappin my 1.48v (not sri) lump for a 1.4 16v sport engine?

would it be worth the money and how much would it cost?

Might be worth phoning up the insurers and seeing how much each converison will cost to get an idea of where you stand.

I know alot of people automatically say "No, get a 2.0", but its down to each person as to whats best for them. Do a bit of research :Thumbs:.

depends what you wanna do. you can tune the 1.4 16V more. but depends if you wanna pay about £600 for a conversion.

i went from a 1.0L 12V to a 1.4 16V. i didnt go for a 1.6 or 2.0 as i cant afford insurance

i own a 1.4 8v + a 1.4 sport and i think the 16v is so over rated!!!!

the 8v has more guts than the 16v, pulls off faster from standing start! only good thing bout the 1.4 16v is it looks alot nicer than the 8v
