do a paperclip test (see www.topbuzz.co.uk) to see which fault codes are logged. should guide u in the right direction.

like 3cm suggested, check fluid level and brake pads, but also check for any leaks from your rear wheel drums ect.
As far as your petrol problem, is your car running tidy? If the ECU light isnt on it most probably isnt. Like corsa808 said, get the fault code read by either vauxhall or do it yourself with a paperclip by looking HERE, then come back to us with the problem. Should be able to give you a price of the part, and help on replacing it

yes
could either be the vacuum hose from the manifold to the sensor has become blocked/loose or the wiring plug is loose/dodgy connection
clean the pipe & spray some WD-40 on the plug & re-attach it to the sensor

ok thanks for the help i will give that test a go, i will check the fluid but i think it is ok and its got brand new 2.0 vectra disk pads and calipers on it, as for the engine it will run smooth but sometimes it will idle a bit lumpy the engine management light come and goes and sometimes when you put the clutch in the rav counter will go to nearly 0 and pick up again or sometimes the engine will just die.
thanks for the help
