have it as a motorised self extending metal pipe flip painted the same (kinda like an aerial would when u pull it if you know what i mean) coming out of the middle of ur install with a chrome cap on the end.
This way, you can just connect it to ur old inlet, with a bit of rerouting lol, this has never been done before, wouldnt be as much hassle as the roof and if it extends a bit further than the end of ur boot then u have no worries about spillages or damaging ur paintwork. just an idea.
