anyone know where I can get these from other than www.alienware.co.uk as Im after them sliiiightly cheaper!
ive been browsing ebay for them and to be honest, do not fancy one bit buying one from there...
Here is a reply from one person who registered in the US;
quote: Hello Liam,
First of all you must know that I am
currently in Rome, Italy where my partner and me supplied
capital for the purchase of a bankrupt stores stock.
Now we are trying to sell the remaining stock.
The buy now price would be $1300 (with all the shipping/handling
and insurance charges included).
The laptop included everything such as battery and AC adapter, operating
system Windows XP and Microsoft Office. The units are brand new still
in their original package factory sealed. The laptop will be shipped
with all the accessories provided by the manufacturer and have 1 year
of warranty. All the manuals and the original
documentation are in English. You will receive your
package in 2 working days.
I send all my packages having written on them "display
unit, no comercial value" or as a gift so you don't have to pay
any additional taxes.
Please let me know ASAP if you are interested and maybe we can make a deal.
Kind regards!
Jeff
Thats the 2nd person who is apparently in"Rome, Italy".
I had another reply to an email selling a laptop again, with their location in Inverness, who then, when I ask a question tells me theyre actually in Greece and sends them from there.
And I think ebay actually knows about some people who do it, as I mailed another 2 people, then got an email straight away from ebay basically saying "be careful" then next thing I know the auctions have been deleted from ebay!
So...anyone know of places to get an alienware laptop...
Cheers

i have jus tbought one, got it yesterday, dont think anywhere other than alienware does them, well worth the money simply for all the support you get off them etc! and as far as im awae they make the laptops to the customers spec, as when you go t otheir website you pick exactly what you want, then they build it sending you updates all the time(mine took a month due to the colour i chose, wasnt ment to be here til lfeb but it arrived early!)...so cant see shops selling them
