is there anyway to protect an image from manipulation once it is on a CD?

nope. best way is to put some text over the image to mark it as yours or whatever before its written to cd.

dont think anything is safe - if it can me shown on a screen, it can be put into an edit prog, and changed

Think that just disables right click command. But any 1 with the know how could get the images. Depending on how badly they wanted them

Apparently.....

you can easily do a js script to hide the source as well making it even harder to find the pictures

But any 1 with determination or some nosy ba*tard wanting to know what the site has to hide can work around it in a few clicks. A visitor only has to turn off JavaScript in their browser's options to be able to ignore the script altogether!
