I want to buy my first car...
but insurance is to high on a engine sized over 1.2
so recently i considered a diesel as i will be able to get a bigger engine...
but the bad point!!
the sound..
has anyone heard a good sounding diesel with an engine as low as 1500cc?
id like to get one..but i want a decent sound on it...
i know you can buy black boxes which improve the performance but is there anything i can buy to make a better sound,.... please u2u me

a 1.2 16v will be faster than a 1.5 or so diesel speed doesnt just go on the cc of the engine duhhh

not if you do the tweek, mine got 99 bhp on the rollers
essex racer struggled keeping up in his 1.4 16v with velos torque tube remap etc...

my next car will prob be a diesel,used to have the old stle 306 dturbo.the torque on it was brilliant,especially for such a old high mileage car.but to answer your question not much.but please,wotever you do, DO NOT get an induction kit.made mine slower and sounded so rough.i think u r best to try to get your diesel as quiet as possible and go for the stelth look.lol.
