bout the jbl-400 600w 4 channel amp wired it all up with a 10"sub wen i put my music on the power for the amp is on but wen the sub comes into action the power light fades on the amp an the sub does half the beat what sort of problem could this be

hmmm never came across this before... best bet is to check all ur earths i.e on the amp especially, hmmm make sure theres no cuts in the power cable through the car whilst installing. apart from that mate i dont really know what else to do? is it actually bassy or isit just a tiny tiny amount of bass comin through? are u using 2 channels off the amp or bridging it?

if u have wired it wrong, u might be showing the wrong load to the amp and causing the protection sircit to come on, do u have any more details about how you have it wired?
