This is true not sayin 106 GTi's aren't quick, as they are however, come up against an S2000 it won't even be close.

How did you two get insured on your Jap cars at such a young age? and was it cheap?

As someone has stated you will really struggle to get insurance on a Jap car at 21 PMSL.

Well I suppose if you have got a £5K+ budget for insurance then yes.

I had a quote on an S2k at 19 and it was 2K, completed teh deal with Honda and rang up to get insurance and then it went upto 5K when they new i was serious so i then ended up with Rex,

You can get insured on any thing if you are willing to pay for it, there are companys out there it is just trying to find them.

I think Nath got his alot cheaper than me and was only 19 with a rocket on 4 wheels

Saying that last Aug i tried to change my RX to an Evo GSR and Flux wouldnt insure me, yet it was less powerfull and more common was newer though?

My insurance went up this year, with another years no claims and my points are off Typical

Yeah I know I tried to get insured on one before I got the Audi

Most wouldn't even quote, but the cheapest seemed to be about £5K. I love the car, but I can not justify that much on insurance.

I will get one, when insurance is a bit more sensible
