Right, got a little idea planned out...

How and would it be possible to have say 3 LEDs with a switch which has three points which will switch each one on in turn and keep the previous one lit. I cant seem to find a pressure switch or anything which will give a signal as pressure increases. the travel on the switch must be about an inch.

For example, if the switch was in a door frame and the door shut on it a cm the first LED would light, then another cm and the second would light...this sort of idea, however im not using it for this purpose!

Any ideas...
