So you have your 2 wiring looms...one from the 1.4 16v ecotec engine, one from the 2l 16v ecotec engine....what dou you need to to to each to get the 2l in the corsa?

I know this is wrong section admin...but more people will see it here!

remove the 1.4 engine loom and replace it with the 2ltr engine loom?

is that it? thought there was some modification to do on them?

Dont take my word as gospel but from what i understand you have to keep the corsa loom which is inside the car and join 9 wires to the XE loom which you run in through the bulkhead.

yes you need to connect the engine loom into the corsa loom inside the car, also u need to use the starter motor loom from your current engine.

no the plugs are different on the ecu, but you should have the valver loom and ecu anyway?

yea, so what your saying is chop the 2l ecotec loom off at bulkhead, wire it into corsa loom, then change ecu plugs on corsa loom to 2l ecotec ones.....cant you just wack the 2l ecotec loom in, and make it fit the corsa by using plugs off corsa loom?

your suppost to use the 2 litre loom?! you shouldnt be using the corsa engine loom in the first place

james he is using an ecotech, not a valver, so is the wiring still the same??

i dont know about the ecotec 2 litre loom, if its the same use it, i honestly dont know if it will be the same or different
