The battery in my corsa is 7 years old (still the original) and somtimes struggles to start the car, especially since it was relocated to the boot. I had to get a push start off some guys at the petrol station when it wouldn't start  I am going into VX tomorrow for a new one, but was unsure if I should just get another corsa one or an astra GTE one as a 2.0 XE transpant is imminent. Size doesn't matter as the battery box I am using in the boot will easily take a bigger battery.

Mine had the calibra 16v 1 that came out of the donor car, did the job perfectly 
i would go for and xe engined car battery

A type 063 is standard, an 065 is a bit bigger.... same as a turbo diesel corsa and is more power
