Wheres the best place to get the basic xp themes which people have made... Anyone got any websites? Only things i can find is you gotta install extra software to install these other themes and i just want new windows themes which look better than the ones u get with XP.

You'll need to patch your UXtheme.dll to use third-party themes with XP.
Search Google for the "Neowin Uxtheme patcher" as it's some good shit. Once you've done that, then you can use other themes without extra software.

I had Windowblinds installed as it was good, but I have had the UXtheme mod work in the past. I just stick to Windows Classic theme now.

It's easy to patch your uxtheme.dll file by using a lil tool called REPLACER. Its a mere drag and drop.

If you need some assistance just ask away. I will say this though. Dont use any executeables. Replace the fike manual using a simple DOS tool caled Replacer.

i'm thinking of installing some themes,
but i'd rather not install any 3rd party programs like starskin/style XP.

I will try windowsblinds, but can i delete this program after i install the themes after?
do i need windowblinds installed after the themes are in place?
