Ferrari F355
Caterham 7 Superlight thing (R400 or R500, I forget)
Audi A8 4.2
M3
WRX STi

Drove the top one, the rest were as a passenger.

The Caterham is fookin scary! 3 laps of Silverstone, well half of Silverstone. It was mental.

I love the fact that an army of people think its not that quick LOL.

The odd occasion its been to a timed event its ALWAYS had drivetrain problems (which are now fixed ).

Lets look at some facts, in my car I beat the 430ft/lb Saph I mentioned. When I raced the Nova it made my car look like it was going backwards.

Even when it was on the max pooooooo DVD with my car it would not select 2nd to 3rd without a LOT of persuation.

When you have actually experienced the car first hand come and tell me its slow

The car was built to compete against my husbands Nova, after he had a dispute with Chris Stewart at Regal. I won't go int othe ins and outs of things, but basically he was tucked up by Chris on a hybrid turbo. At the time we were graet friends with him and his wife Karen, and even went to the Sema show in Vegas with them.

After My Husband changed Tuners, and Chris got whiff of the car he was building, the boost beast was born. I know the guy who bulit the engine, he has been a friend of mine for years and still works at Regal. he him self says the car is a piece of shit.

Considering it has 2 engines, 2 turbo's and is 4wd, and the best 1/4 it has managed is a 11.8. I'd say it's pretty piss poor, compaired to a 2.0 8v (one eninge) FWD single turbo'd nova running Autronic and 50hp of Nitrous, which has a 1/4 mile time of 11.3 sec. Wouldn't you?

Oh and the last I heard, which was just before christmas, is that it doesn't run at all at the moment as Arno and Stefan have fallen out, and Stefan had disappeared with the Motec ecu, that they were going to use and pass off as EDS. This all came from my mate who still works at regal and has a 30% share in the company.

EDS did the management Regal built and supplied the engines. The engines were installed in Southampton, then it went out To Germany for Mapping and the gearing to be sorted out. Chris Stewart @ Regal has financed the whole project.

Thanks, and for the record I'd say a 11.8 is fairly impressive regardless of the competition.

Considering the weight its carrying compared to the single engine car, I'd say its a problem with approach rather than execution.

Anyway:

Passenger
BAT Mo Corsa - forget road cars including everything I've listed, you need to experience this at least once...
Few cossies etc.
Fiat Coupe 20v turbo - surprisingly quick -also driven this
Valver Nova, didn't go very far, throttle cable snapped.

Driven
Few Astra Z20LET turbos
Vectra GSi (far smoother than the Astras although not as quick)
Perhaps a Monaro at some point haha

Probably some other stuff...

actually i've been on the back of a vfr750
probably the fastest acceleration i've experienced.

thought i was gona fall off the back at the top of each gear, and then nearly headbutted the riders back at each up-change.

ace experience
