A few days ago there was a couple of pictures posted of a red corsa b with its rear lights painted in some sort of light tint paint, someone said you can buy the stuff from Halfords and do it ya self. Just wondering if they are road legal and will they pass an MoT with them (MoT due nex month)

its a sold red colour, u cant see any other colours, i.e reverse light bit.

folk will change them at mot time.....
But don't think they check reverse lights on mot???
But brake lights etc they do

all the lights must work otherwise whosever car it was would never of done it. I think they will check on the brightness of the lights though. I think ill wait till summerish time to do em, too cold at mo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! cheers though

Not necessarily - I had pink reversing lights on my Sport but it wasn't old enough to need an MOT.

i didnt think the reversing lights had to show or is that just that you dont have to have them on both sides?

ull get pulled for not having any reflectors. People with the Lexus light, and the clear white ones are always getting pulled up here, and have to stick reflectors on their bumpers

reverse lights do not come into MoT end of story.
I've never had a problem with no reflectors on my irscher smoked rears!

Depends if they got laid the night before, they can be ok and just let u no, or can be bastards and do u for everythin. Mostly do u for everythin
