prices and spec. I don't play games all it's for is connecting up to hifi (not sure about new sound card) and for image processing. price is plus VAT. using 2x512 Ram but unsure wither to go for a 1gig slice or not.

Stick with 2x512mb rather than 1x1024mb, aside from that, sounds coo'.

might want a slightly larger HDD due to u having a 1GB stick card for your digi cam? keep filling that up everytime u use it and the 160GB will soon dissapeer....

whats point populating two channels when you an put put a GB stick in? go GB mate.

Can vouch for 64Bit architecture my laptop pisses most applications. BUT i am interested to see how the prescott stands up againist it -/+ £

some motherboards only support 1gb max. two 512s are better, cos if one breaks, you have the other as backup. if u get a 1gb stick, and that breaks, you're fooked.
