Doin 63mph in a 50 coming home from uni in edinburgh.

problem is its my mums car, Mums insurance (but i'm a named driver), I'm 18 and only been driving for 1 year and 5 months.
NIP said i'd get 3 points and 60 pound fine which i knew anyway.

my insurance was due for renual in may so av been shopping around recently and the best i got on my own was 1040 pound, with pass plus and not telling them about mods (no-one would insure me with the mods av done) so its gona be even worse now!

trying to get quotes now on my mums insurance and on my own but need to know "speeding fine code" to complete quote.
does anyone know where i might be able to find out the code, i know i'll find it out when i pay the fine but thought there might be somewhere on the internet which might tell me.

Cheers, Kenny (Gutted) Thomson!

It won't matter because you'll have an Any Driver policy. I got caught speeding and it didn't affect my insurance, and I'm with CIS.
