I know theres a few people knowledgable on cameras on here.. so I was wondering if you could tell me the difference between Digital SLR and Digital Non-SLR cameras.

Pro's and con's etc. thank yoooouuu

SLR are changable lenses, more proffesional and much more expensive.

Non-SLR are standard cameras.

I thought SLR was to do with having the ability to line up your shot through the lens rather than the viewfinder. Know the old film SLRs had a mirror inside that flipped up outta the way when you took the photo...

But yeah, can change lenses too

SLR is single lens reflex. you see what the sensor see's. when you click the shutter the mirror moves out the way to let the light hit the sensor. no-slr's don't. SLR will also take a better quality image

I used to work in Currys and Dixons, so i know fuck all about Cameras. Was an extremely basic thing

Single Lens Reflex, thats the one, couldn't bring it to mind...
